We are looking for Students in different work areas as listed below. The tasks will vary based on the need of the specific team, but with an administrative focus.
Main Roles & Responsibilities
  • Chain of Custody and Controlled Wood 

    • You will assist with activities (e.g. development, review and revision) related to normative FSC documents and maintain effective contact with stakeholders. 
    • You will provide support in administration, meetings, trainings and events.
 
  • Innovation & Commercial Solutions
    • You will support with FSC stakeholders by handling inquiries, data management, documentation, and market-facing innovation projects. 
    • You will proactively reach out to FSC Certificate Holders and/or FSC Promotional License Holders, verify requests, communicate with companies and coordinate signing of legal agreements.
 
  • Project Management Office & IT Governance 
    • You will assist with daily operational and administrative tasks, reporting, dashboard updates, compliance tracking and follow-up activities.
    • You will support in maintaining and updating governance documentation, projects plans, process improvement and knowledge sharing initiatives.
 
  •  Climate and Ecosystem Services
    • Your will research, analyse, collect data, create and maintain spreadsheets and dashboards related to the market’s most relevant standards schemes.
    • You will support the assessments of standards and Ecosystem services claims, as well as support with administrative tasks.
 
  • Operations Management Team
    • You will support the day-to-day operational and administrative processes, such as invoice and contract processing, filing, data entry and database management in SAP.
    • You will contribute to the development and maintenance of dashboards and reports.
Your profile
  • You are currently enrolled at a university in Germany and will remain enrolled for at least one year.
  • You are fluent in English. 
  • You have a good command of MS Office, especially MS Excel and Outlook. 
  • Strong organizational skills and structured working style.
  • Good understanding of data handling and basic data analysis.

  • Additionally, it is a plus if you have experience in the following:
    • Customer or user support. 
    • Working with international organizations and on international project teams. 
    • You have an understanding of voluntary sustainability systems and their operational framework. 
    • Experience with or interest in Power BI and SAP. 
    • You have basic knowledge or experience with GIS tools. 
    • Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and related ceremonies.
    • knowledge of German.

The Fine Print
  • Start date: As soon as possible. 
  • Working hours: 20 hours per week (ideally across 3- 5 days per week). 
  • Duration: 6 months (depending on the team you will work in), with an opportunity to extend.
  • Remuneration: 14€ gross per hour. 
  • Location: FSC office Bonn, Germany (hybrid or remote).
