We are seeking an engaged and detail-oriented Travel Officer who brings solid expertise in travel coordination and a passion for FSC’s mission. You will join a collaborative, multinational team working to enhance our organizational effectiveness through improved systems, tools, and processes—supporting our ambitious Global Strategy as we grow.

Main Roles & Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage all aspects of business travel, including flights, accommodation, and ground transportation.
Act as a liaison with travel agencies, vendors, and internal stakeholders to secure timely and cost-effective bookings.
Monitor travel itineraries and proactively resolve issues such as delays or cancellations.
Ensure compliance with travel policies and support the development and improvement of these policies.
Provide administrative support for visas, insurance, travel briefings, and documentation.
Review and approve travel expenses; assist with the preparation of monthly travel reports.
Serve as the primary contact for staff inquiries related to travel logistics and policies.
Identify and recommend opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Contribute to travel risk management efforts.
Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Your profile
Education and Training:
Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Travel Management, or a related field.
Experience and Skills:
At least 2 years in travel coordination or related administrative roles.
Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills.
Accurate, diligent, and able to multitask under pressure.
Familiar with financial or travel-related administration.
Language & Communication Skills:
Fluent in English & Spanish (spoken and written).
Excellent interpersonal and intercultural communication skills.
Digital Skills – good skills in the use of/experience with:
Proficient in Microsoft Office and travel management tools (e.g., OBEs, travel expense systems)
Others:
Experience in multi-cultural, multi-lingual, global team, ideally in NGOs or non-profits.
Demonstrated cultural awareness and sensitivity to the diversity of values, views and approaches to issues relevant to the FSC program by stakeholders around the world.
Professional demeanour with the ability to represent the organization effectively.

The Fine Print
Location: Oaxaca, Mexico (hybrid) Working Hours: Full time - 40 hours per week. Duration of Employment: Temporary contract – 2 years (extension possible, subject to satisfactory performance). Starting Date: As soon as possible. Travel: Sporadic travel is required.
