The Scope
We are looking for a Remedy Manager who brings solid project management experience and a passion for FSC’s mission, to work with us in an international environment.

Main Roles & Responsibilities
This position contributes directly to addressing environmental degradation and providing access to remedy for rights holders. The Manager will oversee clients implementing the remedy procedure, contribute to the development of internal systems to support the effective implementation of the remedy procedure and participate in the socializing of this new procedure through multi stakeholder processes and capacity building of different stakeholder groups.
Manage the implementation of remedy processes for different clients from the intake process, to contracting, through to the verification of implementation milestones.
Manage diverse projects to support remedy processes related to restoration outcomes, verification decisions, and capacity building curricula.
Coordinate with FSC national offices and international staff.
Support FSC communications with case updates, developing FAQs, and answering media and stakeholder questions.
Contribute to the principle of continuous improvement through constructive and solutions-oriented feedback on efficiencies and system improvement.
Effectively prioritize tasks and contribute to project planning and reporting.
Work collaboratively as part of a diverse team of Integrity subject matter experts.
Your profile
Education and Training:
University/technical college degree or equivalent training or experience in a field of forestry, environmental science, political science, geography, law, restoration, international development, consulting, engineering, integrity or technology related field.
Working Experience, Style and Skills:
At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in project management.
Case management, investigations, integrity and/or compliance background is a plus.
Stakeholder engagement.
Strong time management skills and ability to handle multiple functions simultaneously.
Experience in writing, reviewing, revising, and/or editing technical documents is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to plan, organize and complete work tasks.
Attention to detail.
Language & Communication Skills:
Superior verbal and written communication skills that contribute to cohesive team efforts and decision making.
Fluency in English (spoken and written).
Spanish, French, or Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
Digital Skills – good skills in the use of/experience with:
Standard office software (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Experience with database software is a plus.

The Fine Print
Location: Bonn, Germany.
Working Hours: Full time - 40 hours per week.
Duration of Employment: [Temporary contract - 2 years (extension possible, subject to satisfactory performance)
Starting Date: As soon as possible.
Travel: Sporadic travel is required.
